DAT Subcontracted to Model Use Cases for NARA Government-Wide Records Management Service Components Requirements Development Project

As a subcontractor to prime Dynamics Research Corporation, DAT is developing UML-based use case models for NARA's Government-wide archival processes. 18 Agencies contribute and colaborate in developing the base requitements.

GSA Chief Architect, George Thomas, explains the OsEra Project in Government Computer News. DAT is key contributor.

GSA builds EA-based development platform. Model Driven Architecture provides the overview for the task, Thomas said. The team uses modeling plug-ins for the Eclipse integrated development environment to create a set of service definitions.

DAT President and CEO, Cory Casanave, Describes GSA OsEra Project in eWeek Article.

According to Casanave, OSERA is a work in progress. "The idea here is this is an initiative, and we're looking for participants to make this a happening," he said, noting that he is a child of the 1960s, when "happening" was a cool term.
