Model Driven Solutions Led Team Awarded Extension to Human Resources Enterprise Architecture Tasking

Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won a major task extension from GSA for Human Resource Enterprise Architecture (HR EA). Partners on this included CIBER and OmniSolve.

Vienna, VA, 7 November 2008 - Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won a major task extension from GSA for Human Resourse Enterprise Architecture under the One GSA EA. The MDS led Team has been the winner of all five bids let under the GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded about two years ago. Partners on this bid included CIBER and OmniSolve.

Model Driven Solutions has been working with the Office of the CIO, its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for the past three years to develop the One GSA Enterprise Architecture. In its efforts to extend this architecture across all of GSA, the agency is issuing a series of Request for Quotes (RFQs) to cover GSA Enterprise Architecture activities and procurements over a five year period.  This award extends latest (and fifth) award by GSA, all to the Model Driven Solutions Team.

Having completed the development of the initial HR EA that include Personnel Action Processing, Benefits Administration and Compensation Management, this extension is to develop both an "As-Is" and "To-Be" Enterprise Architecture Segment for the GSA Non-Core Human Resourse processes and activities. These include HR Strategy, Staff Acquisition, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and other areas.  “This task extension continues our overall GSA EA and segment focus” said Ed Seidewitz, Project Lead and Vice President, Model Driven Solutions and DAT.  “This continuation award is a very strong vote of confidence in the work already accomplished by the Model Driven Solutions Team at GSA and bodes extremely well for its future”, continued Mr. Seidewitz.

Model Driven Solutions has put together a powerful team of highly experienced organizations to respond to GSA needs. For this specific project, the team consists of CIBR and OmniSolve. Each of the partners, combined with Model Driven Solutions' methodology, tooling and expertise, provide GSA a complete Enterprise Architecture solution across all of GSA's lines-of-business and service offices.
