Ed Seidewitz' Article "What Models Mean" Chosen Among IEEE Software Magazine's 25th-Anniversary Top Picks

Model Driven Solutions' Vice President of Model Driven Architecture Service, Ed Seidewitz is recognized as the author of one of the top 35 articles in the 25 year history of IEEE Software Magazine.

Vienna, VA, 26 January 2009 - Model Driven Solutions (a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc.) Vice President Ed Seidewitz has been awarded major industry recognition for his September/October 2003 IEEE Software Magazine article "What Models Mean". In celebration of its 25 years of publication, the magazine has selcted the top 35 "must read" articles. The 35 selected were from over 1,200 peer-reviewed articles published from 1984 through 2008.

According to the IEEE Magazine release, "Software’s editorial and advisory boards embarked upon the ambitious task of distilling those (1,200) articles into a compact list of recommended reading. To select the articles, we relied on three sources: nominations, Web analytics, and citation statistics. We invited the members of Software's boards as well as former editors in chief to nominate their favorite full-length, peer-reviewed articles that appeared either in a special focus section or as a standalone piece."
